Creta Rossa as a ceramics learning center is a well known and recognized reality in the city of Vasto and in the whole territory around it.
The classes are held by the art-master Giuseppe Buono, professional ceramics with long-term experience.
The courses within the workshop are directed both to children and adults and allows course participants to find an area with clay working equipments and a comprehensive range of materials and colors for the decoration of pottery.
All courses can have only a fixed number of trainees to ensure the best quality and effectiveness.
Working groups for children are established for band of age, for each group the lessons take place during the afternoon hours, once at week and there are different educational levels.
Programmes provide for different aims for the different ages and are inspired by the methodology used by the great artist and designer Bruno Munari.
To each child is offered the opportunity to know, testing and especially to play with his creative freedom.
Pottery courses for adults are concentrated in the evening hours and have the purpose of transmit, besides the ancient techniques for handle the clay and decorate the pottery, especially the pleasure and the desire to learn an ancient trade with the joy of testing that the same material offers.
Creta Rossa offers dedicated courses outside of the workshop for public and private structures, such as schools, museum centers, recreation centers, day centers and rehabilitation institutes.
